The Pre-Prep Department covers the ages eighteen months -7years+. Purpose built classrooms and a fully enclosed playground add to the warm and friendly atmosphere.

The emphasis is on providing a solid foundation for all children in a happy, caring and stimulating environment.

Highly qualified and experienced staff help to encourage good learning skills, independence, self-discipline and good relations with peers and adults.

Children are given varied opportunities to develop their creative and artistic skills.

The Ballard Nursery Class is on the same site as the Preparatory and Senior School. This means that Ballard School can provide one stop education for boys and girls from eighteen months to sixteen years.

Our Nursery seeks to provide an excellent caring, secure, happy and stimulating environment in which all children can develop and reach their full potential. It gives them the very best start to their education and is a solid preparation for future school life.
