Sports

Ballard School has an enviable reputation for sports excellence and participation.  But above all, the emphasis is on fun and fitness.  Students are encouraged to take part and enjoy their game or activity.  Facilities include extensive grounds with sports pitches, athletics track and outdoor heated pool, a well equipped indoor sports hall and 3 hard tennis courts.  Matches are arranged with local state and independent schools in a wide range of sports.  The sports staff have an extensive range of expertise and encourage both participation and excellence.
