We are delighted to announce that our exceptional Art Department — Mrs Davina Hitchins, Miss Pamela Jackson, Mrs Laura Jarman, and Mrs Shelley Perry — has been recognised nationally by the Independent Schools Association (ISA), winning the ISA Award for Excellence in Fine Art and Design 2025.
The ISA commented:
“The Awards recognise excellence and innovation demonstrated across the independent sector. They celebrate the breadth of achievements across our diverse membership, which now stands at 770 schools — reflected in the strength of entries this year.”
Headmaster Mr Andrew McCleave added:
“It is a fantastic achievement and thoroughly well deserved.”
This accolade follows an outstanding set of GCSE results for our Art pupils class of 2024:

✅ 100% pass rate
✅ 67% grades 9–7
