Arts @ Ballard

At Ballard School, the Arts are a vibrant and essential part of school life. From Art, Dance, Drama, Music, and Textiles, our pupils are immersed in a rich and diverse creative curriculum that nurtures imagination, expression, and personal growth.

Whether performing on stage, designing in the studio, composing in the music room, or creating in textiles, pupils from Kindergarten to Year 11 are encouraged to explore their talents and discover new passions.

Opportunities for All:

The Arts at Ballard are not limited to the classroom. We offer a wide range of co-curricular clubs and activities, giving every pupil the chance to get involved, whether they’re beginners or seasoned performers. From choir and orchestra to textile clubs, prop design clubs and dance troupes, there’s something for everyone.

The Arts are a vital part of a well-rounded education. They encourage pupils to see the world differently, to express themselves confidently, and to connect with others. In a rapidly changing world, creativity is one of the most valuable skills a young person can develop.

At Ballard, we believe that the Arts:

  • Enrich learning across the curriculum
  • Support mental wellbeing and personal development
  • Prepare pupils for a wide range of careers and life experiences

Whether on stage, behind the scenes, or in the studio, the Arts at Ballard inspire pupils to be bold, imaginative, and proud of who they are.
