1-1 Learning Support Assistant

Ballard School is seeking a Full Time Learning Support Assistant to Support a pupil in Year 9 on a 1-1 basis. This will mostly be supporting him in the classroom environment, but some support on a 1-1 basis outside the classroom may also be required. This role is funded by an EHCP which is currently funded until the end of this academic year, so this will initially be a fixed term contract until the end of term in July, but we are expecting it to be re-approved for next year and so the role is likely to be extended.

Head of Computer Science & ICT

Ballard School is seeking an inspiring and forward-thinking Head of Computer Science and ICT to lead the strategic development of digital learning across the school on a part time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to shape a modern, ambitious curriculum and champion innovation in a small but impactful department.

This vacancy comes as our long‑serving, highly valued Head of Computer Science & ICT retires after many dedicated years at Ballard. We are now looking for someone who can continue their legacy while bringing fresh ideas and energy to the department.

This is part time position of 0.6FTE, salary on the Ballard Pay Scale dependent on experience, plus an allowance for Head of Department.
