Ballard School chose to enter Year 11 pupil, Carla, as a candidate for the ISA Senior Athlete of the Term for Autumn 2022. Carla is now English, British and commonwealth champion for Cadet kata (a form of karate) and continues to help mentor younger athletes at her local club, all this whilst studying for her GCSE’s! Carla was successful in being shortlisted for the final selection of the competition, which is an outstanding achievement.
