Year 7 Admissions Day
Calling all parents with children in Year 6.
We would be delighted to welcome your child to our Admissions Day for Year 7 entry 2025, which takes place on Saturday 16th November, 2024. The day offers an opportunity to experience a little of life@ballard whilst mixing with other pupils and meeting key staff.
Pupils will be put into small groups with a member of staff acting as the group leader (GL) and should arrive between 8.30 – 8.40 am. The GL will ensure that your child gets to the right place at the right time, as well as taking them for snacks, lunch and breaks. The fun starts at 9.00am with an ice-breaker for all our potential pupils followed by a carousel of activities that includes, DT, Performing Arts, Sport, Leadership Skills, a group discussion and a small piece of creative writing and problem solving.
Parents are invited to join us after lunch to meet the team and other families involved in the day.

In Year 7, Ballard grows from two classes to four, mixing our current pupils with lots of new pupils. We are really proud of our pupils and would love to invite like-minded pupils, whatever their passion, to join us. Offers to pupils will be made on a best-fit basis before the Christmas break.

We recommend visiting Ballard as soon as you are able to. Although there is a wealth of information within our Virtual Open Day page, through the School sections on the website and in the Good School Guide report, there is nothing like a visit, particularly an Open Morning, where you are toured by our pupils and have the opportunity to meet parents and staff.
