Congratulations to our brilliant Year 10 mathematicians who brilliantly represented Ballard at the Maths Feast competition in Southampton. With two teams of four, our pupils displayed exceptional teamwork and problem-solving abilities throughout the event. The Maths Feast, an exciting educational challenge, put their mathematical prowess to the test with a host of problems to solve.
In a competition, featuring several rounds, each demanding diverse skills and strategies, our teams rose to the challenge. Team A (Ava, Betsy, Paolo, and Maggie) secured victory in the number crossword round, demonstrating their mastery of mathematical concepts. Not to be outdone, Team B (Lihan, Oscar, Jamie, and Jake) emerged triumphant, clinching the coveted title of ‘Best Teamwork.’ Team A clinched third place overall, a remarkable achievement! Well done, all.
