Through wind and rain, our pupils trooped through their Bronze expedition, setting up camp very efficiently. After a great night’s sleep, the group awoke to sunshine on the Sunday as they finished their 17km expedition. All displayed fantastic teamwork. The assessor’s report was exceptional, and we could not be prouder. Roll on Silver!
“It was such a pleasure to spend time with our Year 9 Bronze Duke of Edinburgh participants. Our expedition providers, Mountain Ash, were so impressed with their sense of purpose and maturity. Some of the groups have been on a steep learning curve in terms of navigation but their training and determination won through on their assessed expedition. I have never worked with such a strong group of Year 9’s in terms of teamwork and positivity. Well done to all.”
