All pupils wising to join Ballard in Year 7 must register to attend our Year 7 Admissions Day. This year it will be taking place on Saturday 15th November, 2025.

The day offers an opportunity to experience a little of life@ballard whilst mixing with other pupils and meeting key staff. Pupils will be welcomed into small groups led by a dedicated staff member (Group Leader) and should arrive between 8.30 – 8.40 am. The fun starts at 9.00am with an ice-breaker session followed by a carousel of six activities that includes, DT, Music, Science and Sport. Refreshments will be provided through the day and parents are warmly invited to return after lunch to meet our team and other families.

All pupils must be registered to take part so please contact one of our friendly admissions team via email: registrar, or by calling us on 01425 626900.

In Year 7, Ballard expands from two classes to four, blending our current pupils with all our new pupils. We are really proud of our pupils and welcome like-minded pupils who are ready to thrive in our inclusive, dynamic community.

Offers to pupils will be made on a best-fit basis before the Christmas break.

We are seeking pupils who possess a positive character and will:

• show enthusiasm for School life;
• embrace new opportunities;
• demonstrate kindness and acceptance; and
• live our Ballard values including curiosity, kindness, honesty and respect.
