There were lots of events carried out for our Charity Awareness Week, including an incredibly successful a House Charity Cake Sale.
The main charity we will be raising funds for is Fareshare; the charity that Marcus Rashford has been a high profile supporter of in recent months. The charity aims to relieve food poverty and reduce food waste. Thank you so much to all our pupils and parents who baked such a delicious array of goodies.
During our assembly, we talked about the meaning and importance of philanthropy and also outlined the various charity activities that will be taking place during this academic year. Events for the rest of this term include a home clothes day and a Christmas jumper day. For the spring and summer terms 2022, events will include a wear your onesie/pyjamas to School day, an online quiz and a House apprentice event.
