Our STEM scholars had a wonderful experience at Silverstone Racetrack on Tuesday. They took part in a STEM workshop, walked the historic track and explored the museum. They tested their pit stop skills with Patrick (Year 11) changing the F1 wheel in a record 6.2 seconds.
During the visit, the pupils were lucky enough to be some of the first people to see the brand new Aston Martin Valkyrie doing test laps. Pupils got to explore the interactive museum, with a personal guide taking them through the wealth of British motor racing history that lives at Silverstone. The scholars were thrilled to enhance their STEM knowledge with this exclusive experience.
